So honored to have co-written with Tori Kelly on “Mess We’ve Made”— her talent is phenomenal and she’s become one of my best friends in less than a year on this long, tough musical journey we’re partaking in. The producer of this album is my brother from another mother, Jesse Barrera. On the first day we met, we wrote “She Was Mine” and I’m so happy to share a piano-only version for the album with you all. He has put so much into this record, and I feel like this record is his as much as it is mine. For “When We Say” (Acoustic) we have another special guest, Andrew de Torres from the bands The Scene Aesthetic and Danger:Radio. Jesse and Andrew have been long time idols of mine from those pop/punk/rock/Warped Tour days of high school so this is extra special to me. Other special guests include my good friends Nessa Rica & Alan Ladan on the track “Red Roses”, for strings we have Keith Tutt on “When We Say”, and Melissa Polinar on “Without You”.

And of course, my band Noah Bartfield, Danny Morledge, and Andrew Rhim. They are professionals at their instruments and their dedication to this band and project mean the world to me. They make my music come alive and I hope each of their personalities shine in this record as much as I hope mine does.
