today, 6 years ago, i posted my first YouTube video ever.

thank you to everyone who has supported me since day one, even since the MySpace days… and to all my new supporters i hope you enjoy the journey with me. i’m not gonna lie, it hasn’t been an easy one. there are lots of ups and downs being an independent musician… during these last 8 years (2 years on MySpace) that i’ve been writing music, nothing happened overnight for me. i never got a multi-million dollar contract, didn’t get on the Ellen show, i didn’t get “discovered” as the traditional Mainstream artist does, but i know that i have inspired others with my music— and that’s what i work hard for. 


i don’t do it for the money. i don’t do it to be famous. but i’d be lying if i said that i don’t care about the popularity— because that just means more people know about your message. and my message is clear: believe in music. believe that it can save lives and that it can heal, because it can. my dad shared his music with everyone he met, and everyone knew him as a positive, hardworking, family man who inspired people. he is who i aspire to be. i’m so happy to be able to share my music with all of you, and that YouTube and the Internet has made it easier for all of us Independents to do so without the help of the big companies and record labels. so with all that said, thank you for an awesome 6 years, here’s to many more.
