timothymac Asked: I noticed you like to use the minor V (lower case v) and then secondary leading tone of IV. For example, in the key of C major, it'd be a G minor chord, a E diminished chord, and then F Major. I'm just wondering, is there some kind of fancy music theory term for that G minor chord?

its the 2/5 of the 4 chord, it has to do with secondary dominants and things like that. i’m not too positive on what its called exactly haha.

  1. becauseexposition said: I’m guessing the g minor chord acts as a ii of F major, which leads to V 6/5 and then to I or IV, depending which key you’re in.
